For exporting mangoes to foreign countries first and foremost
requirement is to selecting best quality mangoes having bright colour
and sweet smell, through the process of gradation. The fruits should
be naturally ripped without any chemical treatment. These fruits
should be harvested in cool weather in morning or evening, harvesting
at noon when temperature is higher should be avoided.
If the consignment is sent by air, the mango should be not fully
ripen and if the consignment is sent by ship, the mango should be
slightly ripen. If the consignment is to be sent through ship, mangoes
should be kept in cold storage after pre cooling. |
